Hidden 125 feet underground beneath an unassuming bungalow, amongst an idyllic forest setting, lays the Kelvedon Hatch secret nuclear bunker. The bunker, designed to house 600 people, was built in 1952-53 as part of a programme to improve and harden Britain's air defence network. The bunker was a Sector Operations Command for the RAF Fighter Command. It was to provide command and control of the London Sector of Fighter Command. Dare you risk an encounter with one of a number of strange presences appearing as mists and flashing lights. Would you sit alone in the dark scientists' rooms, with the spirit of a workman reported to haunt the site after his untimely death. With unexplained growling and strange smells on the plotting floor to boot, join us and experience a Dark Encounter here!
